Dr. Lea Scheppke is the Director of Scientific Operations at the Lowy Medical Research Institute. She facilitates communication between LMRI’s scientific investigators, manages the development of LMRI’s research database, and oversees public communication.
Dr. Scheppke received her Ph.D. from University of California, San Diego in Molecular Pathology in the laboratory of Dr. David Cheresh. Following her Ph.D., she worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Dr. Martin Friedlander’s laboratory at The Scripps Research Institute.
