Ava Maeyama is a Research Assistant at the Lowy Medical Research Institute. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Point Loma Nazarene University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Her undergraduate research focused on understanding how the human papillomavirus causes cancer. Her work at LMRI focuses on supporting the Stem Cell Research Program under Dr. Kevin Eade.
