The Lowy Medical Research Institute has a dedicated staff of clinicians, scientists, and administrators working together to advance clinical and laboratory research on macular telangiectasia type 2. LMRI staff are based at the California headquarters. They work closely with extramural investigators and clinical sites to coordinate LMRI’s laboratory science and clinical research efforts. Scientific staff also work in the on-site laboratory to study specific aspects of the disease.
