Mr. Caleb Bates is a Research Technician at the Lowy Medical Research Institute. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Point Loma Nazarene University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Minor in Computational Science.
As an undergraduate, Mr. Bates completed two summers of research with Dr. Michael Dorrell at Point Loma Nazarene University studying macrophage polarization in the tumor microenvironment. In addition, he also conducted a year of research for an Honor’s Project studying the mechanism by which Human Papillomavirus protein E7 leads to a multitude of cancers. Mr. Bates began work as a Research Technician at LMRI in July 2021.
