Dr. Robert Graham is the Des Renford Professor of Medicine, University of New South Wales, and has been the inaugural Executive Director of the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute (VCCRI) in Sydney, Australia, since returning to Australia in 1994. Prior to that, he spent 17 years in the United States working at Southwestern Medical School, Dallas; the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School; the Massachusetts Institute of Technology; the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
